SUSTAINABLE FUTURES AFRICA FOUNDATION

SFA is a family foundation based in Kenya whose vision is a Shalom world—a world in which God, people, and planet web together in complete harmony. Our thematic areas are building Sustainable Peace and Environmental Sustainability. We use an intergenerational approach where we connect generations to transmit the values and practices of wisdom and understanding, grace and generosity and courage and resilience. We partner with individuals, groups and organizations that are passionate about what we do. We provide them with mentorship, sponsorship and volunteership opportunities. We also recognize and awards leading lights in our areas of focus. To implement our work, we give and receive gifts and donations.

Giving is a response to God’s invitation to be faithful stewards of the generous gifts He has given, to benefit the world as we join in His ministry of divine restoration. The founders also believe in passing on other generational values such as character, wisdom, understanding, hard work, love, care, and compassion. This rich heritage was purposefully passed down to them by their respective parents and grandparents, who they seek to honor through this Foundation.
